Who are Altar Servers?

We are students in the fourth grade or older who have made our First Communion and would like to assist the priest and deacon during Mass.  We mainly serve on the weekends but sometimes (if we attend St. Anthony School) we are asked to assist at funerals during the week as well.  But that is only with previous permission of our parents as well as our teachers.  Altar servers are encouraged to continue through high school.  Upon receiving your Confirmation you may go on to lector or be a Eucharistic minister.  If you would like to become a member you must contact Fr. Bob.  New members have training in the early fall which consist of three or four hour long training sessions with Mr. & Mrs. Pandiscio.
